However, I don't have too much of a choice because the quality of my eggs is questionable followed by late ovulations. This snowballs into the low production of progesterone.
Clomid is 'suppose' to 'correct' my eggs, thus, causing the eggs to be better, more predictable ovulation, and better progesterone levels. Anyone who has ovulation issues is thrown on Clomid or shots like Clomid which are much more expensive. Even if I were to do IUI, I'd have to be on Clomid...I can't escape it...
The idea is to start with 50 mg (smallest dose) with my cycle in April. I will then be followed by bloodwork and ultrasounds. If the doctors find more than one mature egg, Jake and I won't try that month. We don't want to try for more than one child. We are going to try and avoid multiples at all costs. I would rather skip a cycle than place myself and my babies in terrible danger. I also don't want to be forced to 'reduce' once pregnant. That would break my heart...
All the Clomid in the world won't help the quality of my cervical mucus, though. We are only trying Clomid for 3 months. After that...
