Hi guys,
A lady named Jenn told me to post this elsewhere, and a mother named Angela suggested to post it here for your knowledgeable minds!
I'm a writer, and a former family member of mine had CF. I am writing a book involving a CF patient, and unfortunately family information alone on treatment hasn't been enough to suffice for proper research. I was wondering, if anyone was interested, if you could give me a "low-down" on extensive hospital/hospice life for a CF patient? A timeline of sorts would be great.
Although I do not suffer from CF myself, I'm keeping all of you in my prayers. <3 Stay strong.

Hey, Victoria <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
I am a writer myself (and have CF). I appreciate the fact that you would like to be knowledgeable for your book - that's great.
Perhaps if you can be more specific on what info you need, people can respond more easily.
The "low-down" on extensive hospital stays and life for a CF patient is a very broad subject.
Good luck <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

If you'd like to email me with questions (chrissydunbar@yahoo.com) or go ahead and post some here and I'll try to answer them. CF is a progressive disease that progresses differently for all of us who have it. Some of us are doing well, while others are younger and need frequent hosptial stays.

For example I am 33 with CF; although I was a sick child--I was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and asthma. At 21 they figured it out and I have only had one "tune up" (at the age of 30).
