Well I ask the anon's why is that so wrong for a picture to be painted about one poster?
It tells others where you are coming from, what you have experience in, etc.
If you have a problem asking a question signed in why do you need anonymity? What is so bad about what you're asking what you're posting about that we should not be able to identify an online alias with. Yes this board is easy to find online but that doesn't mean that you have to be, if you censor yourselves. Even posting under anon doesn't save you from potentially being identified by a husband/boyfriend/boss/coworker if you say the right things.
Personally (<-- *Personally*) I think if you have trouble asking a question you should ask yourself what is so wrong with the question.. I've found with 'touchy' subjects that it's usually sexual related questions that are shied away from.. (but really what's wrong with sex questions, it's natural.. heck you wouldn't be here without sex). I think a lot of anonymous posting has to do with changing how you see a subject. This board is here for helping people, sometimes people do give opinions on a subject but usually (especially without the anonymous facade to hide beind) things are civil and without name calling. Not saying that things can't get heated but without the anonymous function there's a lot less name calling. But that's just me.
