When did you get / start IV Antibiotics...

YES! After I did my first round I was like "I feel great! Why did I wait so long???" But I know what clues to look for. And I'm getting those same symptoms now: short of breath A LOT, not coughing up as much I normally do, and what I do cough up is thick, green, and tastes nasty (I know, gross). So guess what? I called today to set up PICC #2. Sure it was a pain, but I felt amazing afterward and didn't wait this time!

I was 21 years old when I had my first IV antibiotic treatment. I've never had a "tune up" just for kicks. I have only been on IV antibiotics when I was in the middle of an exacerbation that couldn't be helped by oral or inhaled antibiotics. I'm 32 years old now and I've been on IVs 6 times in the last two years. But only twice in the last 7 months.
