Connor stayed in the 25% always, till he reached about 10 yrs then started growing taller and not really gaining weight. He got his G-tube one year ago, and has gained 20 lbs since....slowly but surely.

My granddaughter got her G tube last Wed and it is great she is 4 1/2 mos old and hasn't left the hospital since birth. She had bowel surgery as soon as she was born and has had an awful time gaining weight,,,she hasn't been on the growth curve since after her birth, she weighed a hefty 9lbs at birth but since then she has only gained 2 lbs. She was at around 12lbs last weigh in and that is now with her TPN and G-Tube. She is getting off TPN as soon as she is up to full feeds. I wish they would have done this sooner because now she is closer to coming home.....She is a little trooper has had 3 surgeries and just keeps smiling.......
