michigan has an insurance plan similar to BCMH and I was on it for 2 years it was phenomenal. ours was called michigan special supplementary healthcare (formerly crippled childrens -- sooo not PC so they cahnged it LOL) anyway they are supposed to cover everything (after deductible or % you are responsible for if any, according to your income and family size) that is related to the condition being covered and notohgin that isnt cf related but my experience was they covered everything, of course being CF its all so intertwined. CF coverage in MI was for life while most other conditions were until 18 yo.
I will NEVER have two insurances again, it is SUCH a nightmare, its not worth it to me (well maybe if I didn thave good 1' insurance). WHat's really fun is when you have 2 insurances then you get a car wreck, then you have 3 companies to fight with, its like trying to get toddlers to agree!
