Hello!
My name is lizmar tissot. i am 21 and w/o CF. i am super tall (about 5'10) and pretty bony.
i am in love with a beautiful irishman named matt who is 23 and w/CF.
I am a pre-med switched social sciences major, who wants to move to bambara and study the epidemiology of HIV/AIDS.
i live in san francisco and am so in love with my boyfriend that i am overcome by some sort of madness.
my boyfriend and i want to star in a travel channel show about music in different cultures around the world - no ethnocentrism allowed!
i sing the blues and paint creepy things.
i think about sad ***** constantly because i have so much to lose.
i used to model in actual magazines like shape and vogue, but quit because, as i defiantly told me mother, "i choose food!".
i am terrified of death and loss and my various therapists haven't helped much.
i won't sleep a full night until we cure CF. next, we cure AIDS.
i have two dogs and a cat from various pounds and i am very against breed specific legislation.
i think everyone deserves the right to be happy and marry whoever they want - homosexuals, bisexuals, transsexuals and everything and anything in between.
i am so in love that i cannot do much nowadays except for be happy.
we need to cure CF now.

hi hi
i am a girl, 30 years old
I was diagnosed at 2 1/2 because my mom persisted
i live in calgary, Canada (and yes, i'm freezing!)
i'm 5'3", 115 pounds
i broke my right arm when I was 5, and I had my spleen removed at 22
i love sushi, seinfeld, crossword puzzles, vodka paralyzers, and hoodies
i hate peas, science fiction, winter time, and socks
i love dogs, especially my fur-baby, Howie
i can't stand touching flour (ya know, for baking stuff), and I'm scared of monkeys

If I could, I would:
1) have straight hair
2) get rid of all the "initial" business: CF, ITP, ABPA
3) host a (late) morning show with my dog
4) open a no-kill dog shelter
5) look good in a wrap dress

i just got a chest port, and i don't think it's very cute
i am depressed, and my doctors call me "a very complicated case"
right now, I am trying to perfect a New Zealand accent...it's a challenge

Hi, I'm Teresa, 42 with CF and live in Brighton in the UK. I was diagnosed at birth thanks to an older sister with CF (now deceased). Despite having 2 copies of deltaF508 I'm very healthy and prior to a recent bout of TB had a lung function of over 100% even though I've had PA for 16 years. I'm in a relationship, a science geek, and a dirty dancer. Thanks to a partial thyroidectomy I am also way 14st, which may well be contributing to my robust health. I'm 5'6". The only downside is I have arthritis as a side effect. Which limits me far more than my lungs. I don't work, but do voluntary work. I'm a major fan of swimming and tai chi.
