Who do you want as your next US president?

I'm glad to see you posting Solo, because after reading your other comment I couldn't help but feel that if ignorance is bliss, then you must have been in a stupor. I see that you were able to come out of it enough to watch the election process Tuesday...Even though I think Rush is a hypocrite also, every once in a while he has a glimmer of truth spout from his lips in spite of his opinionated, bigated, self-gloirfication--as in his defense of Petraus--when he held Congress's feet ot the fire. Obama's minions tried to cicumvent the polling laws in Ohio by getting a judge to hold 19-21 polling places open for two hours past the closing time because of "weather and supposedly a shortage of ballots"...unfortunately, Hillary was too far ahead for it to matter--so nothing has been made of it. Nothing was said when the far-left blog Daily Kos called on Democrats to vote for Mitt Romney in Michigan; Romney won. So goes politics--it's all dirty play. I'm crying great, big crocodile tears.

Kayleesgrandma, if you call "ignorant" criticizing our government, then I guess I'm ignorant. Opposed to the primaries, Hillary's wins matter little, Obama is still in the lead with delegates. But if Hillary somehow manages to win and go to the general election, I think I'll bite my tounge and vote for her over George W MCcain anyday. On second thought, in that case I'll vote for Nader to screw things up.

Funny.

Here are some interesting stats on Obama that you can't deny. The numbers say a lot. His campaign has never taken money from lobbyists, unlike Clinton and McCain.

"Supporters donated more than $55 million to Barack's campaign in the month of February.

No campaign has ever raised this much in a single month in the history of presidential primaries. More important than the total is how he/we did it -- more than 90% of donations were $100 or less, and more than 385,000 new donors in February pushed us past our goal of more than 1,000,000 people owning a piece of the campaign."

--anyway you slice it, that's impressive.

No, criticizing the government is NOT ignorant-- it is a right gained by the blood of someone willing to go to war to protect that right and the right of others--(ask Europe about that.) I was referring to your saying there was no global terrorism (ie Spain, England, France, Somalia, Phillipeans, Iran, Afganistan, Africa, Lebanon, Palestine, Libya,Sudan--just to name a few)--and ESPECIALLY that the US IS RESPONSIBLE for creating the terrorists, and that China is not involved in anything, and that Iran is a peace-loving neighbor of Iraq's. This shows how little you know about current events. I bet you think Muammar al-Gaddafi is a saint--can you say Lockerbie--you probably weren't even born when Lockerbie happened.(Dec, 1988)

To speak as if McCain would use nuclear weapons, or that experience isn't important, shows the level of YOUR INEXPERIENCE, and why Obama appeals to young voters. Obama is one of the top liberals in congress--in all his all of 3 years--one of which has been spent campaigning--so I certainly wouldn't count THAT as experienced enough to be a leader of the free world--and believe me--the US IS the leader of the free world.

I especially resent you calling McCain elderly, as I am 13 yrs younger than him, and if you want to call his 95 year old mother eldery go right ahead. But this is the woman who went France in 2005, was told she was to old to rent a car, so she bought one, shipped it home, and then drove from the East Coast to the West Coast. Heck, my own mother bought herself a convertabile at the ripe old age of 81!
