When Austin was in the hospital at the end of June it was kind of funny. Cuz as we were walking down the hall with his mask on there was a little boy about 4 years old and he was really puzzled. He goes to his daddy. He's a doctor? I thought that was so cute. And then later on during his stay a little girl about Austins age (6) asked her mommy the same thing. I don't mind when kids ask things like that but some adults are pretty dumb.

Here's one: Conor was having a coughing fit at a school function and after all the dirty looks the classroom Mom asks if I could give him some cough syrup to stop him coughing as he was a distraction, I said no and that he could not have any and explained why. When we were leaving this same woman is heard telling her husband that it is wrong that "little so & so " should be made to go to school with someone like that. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0"> they would have to edit the tape so as to cut out his cough, and they would have to check with the doc. to make sure " little so & so " could not catch it. AARRGH !!!!
Or how about a call from Dad saying he wants to know which cough medicine to give because he can't sleep AARRGH !!! ( he not Conor can't sleep, Conor is snoring away lol sometimes life is good <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> )

Here is my favorite....after my daughter was diagnosed over 17 years ago my mom-in-law (whom I love dearly) went to their SMALL town doctor and asked him about it, His reply was that <u>she would outgrow it</u>. Just because they are doctors donesn't mean they know everything.
