~You know all the generic names of every med ever!
~You start coughing and your friend automatically reaches over to thump you on the back to help break up the mucus.
~You have a stash of meds at work because that is just easier than carrying them around.
~There are only two people living in your house but you cook for 4 and never have leftovers.

Well i don't have CF but close enough....

1) When someone asks who your doctor is and you say, "Which one?"

2) When not coughing a lot of mucus up is worrisome

3) It's a 'good day' when your chest is loose and stuff comes up easily

4) You know all the right spots to thump on people's chest if they can't stop coughing

5) People continually look at you and tell you to stop smoking (which i hate!)

6) When you sleep the whole night through without coughing and you wonder if something is wrong

7) You get offended when someone seems to have 'one up' on you in the health department

8) You sometimes take your pills in order, ie. from smallest to largest

9) None of your friends asks you if you're ok if you have a coughing fit, they know you'll stop at some point

10) When not having a wad of kleenex nearby is a bad thing

11) Disposable spit cups = best. thing. ever.

12) You blow your nose more than anyone else, but it doesn't worry you

13) You can detect illness based on the colour of mucus that comes out of your body

14) You don't notice when you stop smelling things; you notice when your sense of smell returns

15) You can probably cough harder than you can forcefully breathe out(at your max. capacity) during your PFTs

16) You've earned every medical scar on your body, and sometimes forget 'what happened' or why you've got certain ones

17) Some aspects of going into the hospital are comforting

18) You have your 'own' nurses

19) You have more medical supplies in your home than your doctors office

20) Someone in your house is always tripping over some form of medical tubing

21) You worry if your mucus will at some point clog the drains in your house

22) Sometimes starting a new med or trying a different one is something to get excited about

23) No one notices when you're coughing: they notice when you STOP
