Thanks for the compliment! There hasn't been any recent changes to his diet, except that he is now on whole milk, but that has been about a month and his stool changes have just occurred over the last week. They are now looking more like diarrhea & are mucuosy. argh!

Marissa is older, and is on Prevacid and Ultrase. If her poop floats, they have increased her enzymes. But like I said, she is already on Prevacid, so there could be an acid factor involved on your end.

I agree with the other poster, He is a cutie!

Have you ever increased the original amount of enzymes from half a capsule to more?

I seem to recall DS took 3 pancrease MT4s with a bottle of 24 calorie formula -- never drank more than 4 ounces. We probably should've given him more -- his stools weren't really shiny or greasy, but they were (sorry tmi) fluffy, yellow with greenish flecks and smelled like feta cheese. When we switched to whole milk, he had more constipation issues. He was also on zantac for the first year, as well.

My rule of thumb with the boys is I give it a 3-5 days and then call the nutritionist. Often their poop go right back to normal. With the young ones, teething can really mess up the poops and usually you never know if that is what it was...because those darn teeth will start poking out and then completely disappear.
Blessings,
Missa
