Zosyn Questions

Hi,
I'm on zosyn currently and have had no problems. My last round of abx I was on cefepime where I broke in a bad rash, hence the switch this time around.

Yes, like Wendy mentioned, watch for reactions throughout the course, even afterwards. Late onset drug reactions are not that uncommon.

wow it amazes me how many people have had allergic reactions to zosyn. i was on regular blood draws when i first started it and i felt great until the blood showed a positive coombs test (i dont even know what that means to be honest) but nevertheless it was a reaction and i can't take it =(

I was on IV Zosyn three different times with no side effects, then the last time I experienced a intense tingling and itching sensation on my face, chest, and back. It became increasingly uncomfortable so that I finally had to stop it.
