Ok, here goes...I am a 38 year old CF female. I have been basically throwing up my whole life from CF. Most of the time it is in the morning...so I NEVER eat breakfast. Sometimes if I have too much food it seems my lungs get irritated and clogged and all the food comes up with lots of mucus. Anyway, recently I have been doing Xopenex, Pulmyzyme, and then the Salt/Saline solution. Everytime I do this cups of mucus comes out of me....literally like 2 full glasses full. I throw it up but it is massive amounts. It is just mucus not food. The color is clear like very thick spit with green mucus mixed in....mostly clear. It is EXHAUSTING afterwards. I feel like I want to go back to bed (sometimes I do). Can anyone else tell me if they experience the same thing? I wonder does all this crap just sit in my lungs? Is it all coming from my lungs or maybe also my stomach? It is not bile tho...

I don't do that every morning, but I do it alot. My mom said when I was younger I would throw up every morning. It's usually a lot of mucus that I throw up, I guess from my sinuses draining down in my stomach at night. I don't really know what to do about it. I NEVER eat breakfast for this reason.
