We were always told no mist around our son that has cf. It is "active" for 7-10 days after getting it.

I agree with Harriett about the bronchospasm. Every kid is different, but that could be a problem. My son started nebbing 7% at about 1 1/2 yrs old. For about a week he would have a small amount of blood tinged mucus, but he never complained and is fine now. That reaction you are getting sounds...
