Hey there Birmingham people.....I actually work for UAB in Huntsville, AL and there is a CF clinic for Childrens hosptial in Huntsville with Dr. Mahesh-Trevor (my 13 yr. old) has not been diagnosed with CF and maybe he won't be. SO far he has the F508 gene and they are doing the deletion...

The Pulm office called a Rachel at Ambry and she said that Dr. Mahesh would need to sign a change form and fax it back and that they would preform the test. My question is will Ambry have enough blood or am I going to need to bring my son back in to do that again? Oh and thanks steve.

Thanks for your response, I have sent Steven (ambry guy) a message about the deletion testing(??) the pulm. is ordering that right now as we speak. they said that is takes two more weeks to get these resutls. If those show nothing then I will probably ask the pulm to see and treat my son...

I know this will not help, but I am going through the same thing, Trevor had the sweat tests done and his scores were 47 and 39 and pretty much the same after the second one. We got the amby tests done 2 weeks ago yesterday and I am still watiing for the results and let me tell you the waiting...
