Partner having fears of being alone

Lisa, so how do you get over it? Or do you just let the moment pass. I don't think all this time apart is good for us, we spend more time Thinking about the relationship rather than Experiencing and enjoying it.

Partner having fears of being alone

Yeah I mentioned looking into seeking a counselor, they probably have them at the University. Like I said it's tough to console someone about my own eventual demise. It makes me feel bad/guilty that I may leave her that way, and it feels weird b/c I'm the one with the illness. Yes you're right...

When does your doc admit you??

With my current doc it's usually based on notable pft reduction after trying oral and inhaled abx. Also when I culture a new bug or have really bad bleeding worthy of the ER.

Partner having fears of being alone

So this issue comes up maybe once or twice a year in our relationship, me and my girlfriend have been going out for over 4 years now. Two of the last years unfortunately she's away at school in Seattle and I'm in San Diego. Anyway, occasionally something happens where she can't stop thinking...

    Working a job with cf

Anything at a desk, working from home, maybe part-time to take it easy on yourself. If you're on O2 now obviously you shouldn't be straining yourself too much. Beyond that I'd say whatever you'd like to do and whatever you might be good at.

NUK Quick n Ready Steam Sterilizer

I started using a reusable microwave sterilizer, it fits a lot of pieces in one container, put a little water in it and nuke it for 3-4 minutes. This creates a lot of steam within the enclosed container so it's probably pressurized somewhat, and I'm guessing kills all the bacteria pretty well. I...

    CF newbie..30 yrs old

I guess you're fortunate to have made it as long as you did without insurance, but I and most CFer's NEED insurance of some kind. Even though I make a pretty good living, if I had to pay for my meds outright I'd be bankrupt pretty quickly, I think it's about $10k per month in drugs I take. There...
