Wow was wondering about that myself as I am in company with a lot of people and have my grandchild with me. I practically tell everyone who comments on him. I get a lot of "he's so cute" or "he's so happy-funny etc". Once that happens I usually open my big mouth and say ya you would never know...

Not sure if you are still checking in on this post but my grandchild has three mutations too and I was told CF is CF you cannot predict the outcome even if they have 3 versus two. I would also like to know what "class" they are. I had not heard of that before. If anyone can enlighten me too...

Yes we cannot stress enough to be proactive. Jaden was told for almost a year that he had child asthma, bronchitis "just a cold" etc, etc, etc. Even his 2nd to last ER visit his PF was at 45% and the dr refused to belive it saying the nurse's probably read it wrong or the machine was broke...

Hi I too am a grandmother to Jaden who is 2 1/2 and he has 3 mutations. We were told by his CF team at Scottish Rite in ATL GA that CF is CF and one mutation does not in fact be worse or better than another. Everyone is different and expectations should be accordingly. I hope this helps...

My grandson is on TOBI and an antibiotic for his most recent bacterial infection. He seems to be extremely hyper to us now. Does anyone know if this could be a side effect? I can't see him acting like this as normal.
