not to scare you or anything but when i started to have headaches like that they did an MRI on me and found a benign hemangioma in my brain (brain tumor)..it was removed safely and i've not had any serious headaches since then...and that was in 2004.. DX at 6mnths CF/CFRD

they have me on the lantus 2wice a day and then the sliding scale...but i've asked the doctors to put me on a carb count and they wont do it all he keeps telling me is "we can fix it with the sliding scale", but its not keeping them down, today they went back up to over 500 and i had no sweets...

my osteoprosis is really startin to kick in and today i was in so much pain, they gave me hyrocodine and delotid, but it still didnt work...ughh i hate this...every joint in my body hurts at the moment and i've even tried walking around and not just laying around in my hospital bed...:-(

umm well when i got admitted it was 604, and now they stay around 2-300, but i actually dropped tnite to 53, and yes they do have me on an insulin coverage, i also take lantus and they upped it to i believe 25u...but also because i have an infection in my lungs my diabetes is going to stay...

thanks for your advice...lol i am taking ensure supplements to help gain but im not really gaining much...
