    Mold in my bathroom...

I have a bathroom that is very poorly ventilated. I installed a deshumidifier in it, it works like a charm, never had any issues with mold or anything. The only downside is the electric bill, so I only run it around showers time.

    Daily bloating - Mystery solved!

this is a very interesting topic. I have been trying to follow a balanced alkaline type of diet with my dd who is 4 y/o (not adhering to any commercial diet though). I cut out everything processed, preservatives, additives, sugars etc. She eats lots of vegetables, fruits etc. But how in the...

    Probiotic

I use a probiotic as well for my dd. To tell the truth I did not see any spectacular results from it even though I use a refrigirated version that is relatively expensive. She still catches all the viruses etc. During antibiotics courses she never had any diarrhea even without probiotic and she...

    Not sure what to do....

CPT is very individual, some people swear by the vest, others prefer manual. If you have an option to try out the vest, i would go for it, you will see if it works for you. In my country there is no vest, we only have PTs, so i can hear you on the difficulty of finding a good one. If you feel...

    Constipation

my dd also has this problem and she is also PS. As Aleksandra said the mucus in the intestin is also thick (as in the lungs), that is the reason. In our case the probiotics did nothing to help. We give forlax periodically, that seems to help. We also avoid bananas, rice etc.

    Atypical CF

In my opinion, if someone has two CF mutations, they have CF, period. When a mutation is rare, it means that the doctors might not know a lot about it, but in my view it is not a reason to question the CF diagnosis, your child needs all the preventative treatments and all the follow up that a...
