Paula, Thank you! Now I understand. I have read about Ibuprofen therapy--it really seems to help slow lung damage. So, I am glad Austin's levels are good and that the dr is not worried about the Haemophilus.

Can you explain what Ibprofen levels are? I've never heard that term and wonder if you mean C-reactive protein? That's a marker of infection and could be clue as to whether your son is fighting off something.
