    Needing some advice

For what it's worth, I sometimes can go 2-3 days without a BM. I don't think that it's necessarily a problem unless you are having pain, bloating or nausea (indicative of a SBO), or very large bulky stools. I'm not a big fan of laxatives. I try things like nuts (peanuts in particular), or...

A question from a worried mom

Yup, my mum did. Although, I was privately schooled and she worked as a secretary in the office there. The only real reason she felt she had to was that, even in 1st grade I was completely pancreatic insufficient and nobody at the school felt comfortable dosing my enzymes. Prior to being...

    Kinda bummed

Yeah, I think too many people look at percent predicted. That can be very misleading, as it is based on height weight and age, all of which can and do change, sometimes quickly. Important numbers to keep track of are FEV1 and FEV75/25.

    CFRD and predisone

Steroids will really mess with your BSG. Esp is you already have CFRD. If you are already on insulin (like humalog) they may be able to adjust your sliding scale. If not you may have to go on insulin temporarily while you are on steroids.

    Narcotics Pre-Transplant

Toradol, is a good (non-narcotic) pain killer, but I think it prolongs your PT, so not a good choice right before impending surgery. You also can't use it for more than 5 days at a time.
