A Simple Request

Where in her post did Nightlife say, "I have been raped and miscarried so therefore I have a problem with the pregnancy talk". I didn't see it. And it think it is horrible to bring up. God, I would expect someone with CF to have more compassion than that. No, I would expect a person in general to have more compassion than that. She told people that because she trusted them, not to let it be thrown in her face FOR NO REASON AT ALL!

Now, I don't think it matters at all where people post things. Yes, they should be in the appropriate sections because that is what they are for. But I don't think that everyone checks them and I think that if people want answers soon they post on Adult. I have posted things in wrong areas also. Just read what you want to read.

This thread has totally gone off and I for one think it should be stopped.

If I'm mistaken about Lauren's history being public knowledge, than I'm sorry. I assumed it was b/c I've heard people mention it in past threads, but its her past to talk about.
I still don't agree that we should have to post about things in restricted categories, but its past that issue at this point.
And Lauren, while I don't agree with all your views, you shouldn't leave b/c of posts that you can chose to not look at if they bother you. Nobody should leave for that. So hopefully as I said earlier, your break will be brief if its needed.

I'm in agreement with most of the other posts.  I sometimes
find it annoying that I have to check each of these different
categories now.  I think things should just go back to the way
they were; one or two categories, and that's it.  If you're
looking for specific information on a specific topic, use the
search engine.  That's what its there for.  Actually, if
I'm looking for something in particular, I always go to the search
instead of the categories.  Makes things a lot simpler, in my
opinion.  And as for pregnancy issues, I'm considered a
"baby hater", too (I won't go into that, I'm not in the
mood and I'd rather stay on topic), but if I see a pregnancy topic,
I just fly right by.  No harm done.  Think of this forum
like the classified ads in the paper...you have to sift through
some things until you find the ad you want.<br>

I guess people just don't know this forum....many of us would much rather post on the adult forum to get more views/responses. I think that the sub categories are used when you want to narrow the people viewing and responding. Many times I have thought about sharing what I am going through, living and dying CF, under the adult with CF section specifically because I only want to hear from others going through what I am going through. I think that is where it comes in handy...If you only want responses from a pointed section then that is where you should post. Overall....I don't think it matters where you post(except for off topic), I am a big boy and if I don't want to read about something I just don't read it.
