I understand why you object to amy's question, but I can also see her side. Obviously, you're willing to mention this on an internet forum which is clearly linked to your name and images of you which your children and other friends and family know about. Therefore it seems obvious that this is not something that you're going to efforts to avoid. Knowing which child adds information, because it helps to see if it was due to a youth thing, a I already have young kids who are wearing me out, or already have my boy and girl or whatever...
You're definitely justified to choose not to answer, but getting an attitude about it towards Amy just isn't fair. You don't even have to choose to express your intent to not answer -- you could just not answer if that was easier. But you brought it up, attacking her for reading and responding to you just isn't in good style.
