Yep, there'a an HFA Advair inhaler- I take 2 puffs of the 115/21, that is the equivalent to Advair 250 diskus. I do use mine with the Vortex spacer- I just feel like I get a better dose. And, if I remember right, at the CFRI? conference, they recommended it with the other HFA inhalers, like Xopenex.

I like the HFA a whole lot better- I was starting to get SOB issues with the powder/diskus.

FWIW Advair contains an anti-inflammatory and a bronchodiolator. The first number 100, 250 or 500 is the anti-inflammatory level. The second number 50 refers to the dosage of the bronchodiolator. So when you're changing dosages you're changing the amount of anti-inflammatory meds. According to the Advair website the drugs in it are: fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder. ~Juliet

I have been on 500/50 Advair Diskette, 2 times a day since Feb of this year.
It seems to be helping me, Just remember to rinse after each dose.

I have had no adverse affects.
It is kinda costly though. But what Cf Med isn't .
