38 is NOT too old. you should see how old some of the people (not Cfers) are at my center that got lung TXs!!! i thought 55 was the cut-off but some of them look much older...
i was 28 when i got mine. Cfers get transplants younger than most people.

I hope 38 isnt too old cause I am 45 and I am getting very close to the transplant list.... I just don't see how many transplants there can be because I don't know anyone who is a donor. How long of a waiting list is the usual time amount? I am getting more and more nervous about it because my lungs seem to be taking control over my health and everything I do doesn't seem to help.
