I think only certain IV meds are used in an aerosol. Gent, Tobra, Ceftaz, Colistin, Aztreonam... and maybe a few others. I've never heard of Merrem being nebbed, but maybe someone here has done it?
I have taken aerosolized aztreonam in a regular neb (not eflow) and not in the study, so yes, you can get the "IV version" and just neb it.
