Alternatives to Tobramycin

Just today my doctor gave me sth instead of Tobi because i kepr losing my voice with that and i had hard coughs...When i get the new medicine ill tell you full name and first impressions...

I used to be on tobi one month and off tobi the next but when I was hospitalized in 2005, they took me off tobi and gave me colistin. I love colistin.

I think only certain IV meds are used in an aerosol. Gent, Tobra, Ceftaz, Colistin, Aztreonam... and maybe a few others. I've never heard of Merrem being nebbed, but maybe someone here has done it?

I have taken aerosolized aztreonam in a regular neb (not eflow) and not in the study, so yes, you can get the "IV version" and just neb it.
