"felt like I was in the movie Groundhogs day" Is that not the truth Liza? That is exactly how it feels!

Lately my girls have been wearing me out...for some reason noone wants to do their vest, they want CPT done by hand! So I have been manually doing their CPT. I guess the only good part of it is that I can build up my arm muscles

And I have a sister in law who has a little girl and she is always complaining about this or that, and I just want to scream! Soooo she has a cold, or a little fever...she rushes the kid to the hospital after three hours of a fever for petes sake! Get real! She is 7 years old, and kids get colds and run fevers. She is always looking for a 'poor little ____'. She never thinks twice about what my girls go through, or what I have to do.

Oh, now you got me venting too Wow, it doesn't take much, does it, lol! Thanks for letting me get that off my chest!

Tammy, Do you think your girls want some me time with mom? You can get that with CPT by hand Just a thought. I know Malora at times gets needy when not feeling 100%.

You are definately not a bad person! It isn't easy being a caretaker, especially a caretaker of a someone with special needs. I really have realized how much time and energy we spend on our daughter (5wcf) since we have had our son (2 nocf) because he is SO MUCH easier. Before him, I just did what seemed normal with her. Now I realize the difference and it is quite big (and she has had almost no health issues, just regular CF maintainance).

Sometimes it bothers me when people complain about little bitty things to me but mostly I just let it roll off of me because they just can't understand what it is like and I can't expect them too. Oh ya, and occasionally I come across people with kids that have MAJOR health issues (like when we go to clinic at a large children's hospital) then I feel guilty for complaining about CF. The last time I was there, a boy wearing a helmet fell out of his wheelchair, convulsing on the floor. When he stopped, his helpers said "he still isn't breathing"! My CFer and I walked past him and I couldn't help but feel lucky.

Big hugs to you and keep up the good work!
