Am I bad person?

I think everyone feels that way sometimes. I look at it as there is always someone else with something worse that they are dealing with. I also just live each day, day by day and pray for a cure. I also try to think that we are "SPECIAL" parents b/c we are only dealt with what GOD feels we can handle.

I am not a real religious person but I just realize that we have no choice but to deal with cards that we got dealt in life. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

i feel that way, but i decided that i will not compare my life any more with any one else life. All my friends has kids the same age as mine, and even thou we have the same type of life, oue worries are different. So I decided that isn´t good for me , and for them, to compare my life with them. So if you look your life as a unique thing do cpt , vest, pills or whatever is part of this unique life, so you cant complain, is what you have, is the only possible life you can have.
ok , not everyday works this kind of thaught, but the days that works I am much happier.

I can relate. especially with the colds and flu and poor me attitude.
some of it is my own fault. we play down alot of what we need to do for Jess's CF. we try not to complain or call attention. especially with the in-laws. I have to say they really have no idea.
last year my niece was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and was in the hospital for 4 days.
I thought "at least now they'll understand". no such luck.

what ended up happening is that I'm not quite sure she's seeing the doctor as often as she should (spacing visits out to save on the copay) or her meds and testing supplies.

instead we feel blessed that Jess was born to us. We KNOW she'll be properly cared for.

She's in good hands. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
