Hey Spartan,
If you're serious about using steroids, you must become as educated as possible on the topic. Unlike other CF drugs, steroids will not be monitored by a physician and things could go wrong....especially when dealing with black market drugs. I've used counterfeits before, and while I was not phycially hurt (thank God), it was a waste of money and time. I was lucky enough to have guidance from someone who I trusted and knew a lot about proper usage. In the absence of such guidance, education is your only hope.
If I knew nothing about steroids and wanted to go on a cycle, I would start with the Underground Steroid Handbook written by Dan Duchane. He's regarded as one of the smartest guys on steroids. He gives all the advice you'll ever want when it comes to the stuff. Although it was banned when he first wrote it, and then sent to jail, times have changed and you could probably google his name and find out where to purchase it.
I will say this much: Pills are molecularly structured to bypass the liver. Therefore, they are much more toxic than an injection. Liver health and CF is a no-brainer. If I was to start a cycle tomorrow, I don't think I would even bother with pills. No need. Injections are safer (though most people wouldn't think so).
My doctor never gave, supervised, or even suggested I use steroids. This was the point of my post. I WISH the medical community was more open to the idea. I'm taking so many drugs to mask the symptoms of CF, it's hypocritical of me to think that steroids are an evil drug with terrible side effects. Tobi has side effects! But the benefits far outweigh any negatives. Same is true with steroids. I am fortunate enough to have a doctor who is willing to listen to my experiences with anabolic steroids, take notes, and promised to talk with colleagues about it. The results I achieved were not placebo. That doesn't even make sense to me. I do believe that heightened hormones will heighten your mood. If you're an ***** before taking steroids, you'll be a super-***** while on steroids. I was/am a really laid back kinda guy. When I was on steroids, I was still a mellow dude. No roid rage. That's mass media non-sense.
