Right there with you, Heather! Clinic days are like our pass for an uneventful three more months! Once those pfts are over, we feel like we're picc free for another 90 days! I think the reason they are so exhausting for us is not because of the physical exhaustion, but the emotional exhaustion. Nobody knows what those three month appts. mean to those dealing with CF except those of us here..the "Sisterhood of the CF Moms!" ...(well, and OF COURSE the patients and other caregivers!) I hope you had a chance to unwind that evening. Are the orals working?

I understand completely. My son goes bi-monthly and we travel 2 hours one way to the CF doctor. He does the bloodwork, chest xrays and PFT's every 6 months. When we are there we are at the doctors for 3- 3 1/2 hours and without all the extra at least 2 hours because we see all the people on the CF team. It is an exhausting day. Luckily we are now bi-monthly for the first 7 years we were monthly. But it is what has to be done.

Take Care and yes there is alot of us that understand....
