if you are using pills to keep from getting pregnant keep in mind that antibiotics reduces the efficacy of them. Also my LC told me that pumping and allowing someone else to do as little as one bottle a day can result in periods returning and in someinstances fertility, yes it is rare but you have to consider how big a risk you are willing to take, only you know your situation.

Haley-since you already know you pregnant on accident once that is a bit different since you may have an easier time getting pregnant than say me who tried and tried and know my DH's sperm are 'special' LOL. Just my 2 cents.

well i started taking pop's last monday. i had finally stopped bleeding from giving birth, then four days after i started taking those pills its like i started my period.

i know with breastfeeding your period isn't supposed to come back for a few months, can this pill cause bleeding? the side affects said light bleeding. just wondering if any of you who got on these experienced that.

I used POPS with both of my children & yes, it caused me to start my period while breastfeeding. With my first child it subsided after the first LONG period that lasted 11 days & I didn't get my period again until i stopped breastfeeding her at 10 months.

With my second child I started on POPS & also started my period & this time it didn't stop but I wanted a more long term BC because I found out about Holly having CF so I switched to the IUD that doesn't have the hormone & I LOVE IT. I have heard mixed reviews though but I haven't had any problems.
