Any suggestions besides applesauce?

I am having a very hard time giving my 1 1/2 yr old her enzymes. She is either refusing the enzymes or spitting them back out.

What else have you used to mix with enzymes? Do you think it might just be an age/behavoiral thing?

I would say it is likely an age thing; I don't know many 1.5yr olds that like taking meds, especially at the volume our kiddos have to.

That said, you can experiment with other things. Some I've heard of are jelly, pudding (best to avoid dairy but not absolute), yogurt, just about anything liquidy that she might like. I've heard of people even using ketchup; though I might puke with the one

Have you tried the baby gels, types of baby jelly? Baby food department, there are a lot of different flavours also. Enzymes should be mixed with acidic type foods because they last longer.

I cant remember how old my youngest cfer was when he started swallowing the capsules, but the creon are nice and small and easy to swallow. Maybe you could give it a go and see if she can swallow a capsule?

Probably too young, but maybe some other parents can remember how old their kids were when they started swallowing their pills. I can remeber my second child eating viokase tablets when she was about two (that's a long time ago!), and I think S started taking his creon qhite young, but he had older siblings which helped

I hope there is something in there that helps.
