The next few months are the favorites of most families...but dreaded by me. I dread cold/flu season and I dread get togethers with family and friends... Sad huh!?

In the spring, summer, and early fall it seems easier...we all breathe a sigh of relief. Dinner with friends/family, cook outs, church activities, ect seem a little easier. This time of year most activities are outside, so you worry less about people showing up sick, or wearing fragrances, or smelling like an ash tray...because we can just stay outside and the atmosphere takes care of these problems...the only worry is making sure the grill is in the right spot to blow the smoke else where.

Then here comes the colder weather. Birthday parties, family reunions, holidays, and just get togethers seem so much more stressful. These activities are held indoors, so you have to worry about if people are not feeling well, if the house smells like air fresheners, if they have an indoor pet, if the guest will forget and wear perfume, or smell like ciggarette smoke...It is so bothersome to have to warn people and remind people. This puts so much more stress on me! What if it is a party where there will be kids and families you dont know well. Anyone else feel this way?

Sometimes it is just easier to stay home!!! How do you handle this?
