Me again...
Just wanted to add that hot showers definitely help... as do heating pads. However, you can't really be a productive and functional person while in the shower, lol. I also find I'm more prone to getting sick during a flare, because I don't want to cough (or exercise) because it hurts.. and so I don't get effective airway clearance. I try to take pain killers so I can still cough and exercise so I'm not sacrificing my lungs.
I have tried to tie it to changes in weather, stress levels, menstrual cycle, lung infections... whenever I think I have identified the pattern, my next flare up defies that pattern. So I have been unsuccessful in identifying a cause <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
