My Nephew passed away in 2003 from complications of Cystic Fibrosis. I recently stared working for company that manufacters air systems that can remove 99.9% of air borne particles in the air this includes many viruses and bacterias. I thought of Kyle and what a difference this could have made in his life. The company is recognised by Mothers for asthmatics and I have read many testamonies as to the comfort our systems provide. I am trying to get the word out, if you would like to hear more please feel free to call me.

Been there done or tried it mom, you never feel like you can do enough for them but just remember you are all they have when they are young and cannot speak for themselves. I am a mother of a 23 year old son with CF and he was diagnosed @ 3 months and hospitalized for 84 days while in the hospital. He grew pseudomonous
one time while in the hospital and never since. He was tested the first time for allergies @ 18 months and began therapy immediately it helped tremendously w/his bronchial asthma and the reoccurring respiratory infections if you have not had her tested my opinion would be do it asap.

When Alysa goes to see her respirologist on Wednesday (to see if she has asthma or not) I believe he is going to test Alysa for allergies as well. He said that because she is only 2 that even if she did have an allergy to something then it could still come back negative.

Alysa, since being diagnosed at 18 months in November, has been hospitalized in November/December, then again in Jan/Feb where she grew pseudomonous. We will be getting the results as to whether or not she still has that too on Wednesday or sometime next week hopefully.

I can not imagine what I will do if she has all 3 things. But I know I need to calm down and stop stressing b/c stressing is just jeopardizing this baby.

Thanks everyone!
