We worked with Joe Falkinham (cited in this article) when my boys were diagnosed with NTM. Although the NTM did not come from our showers, learning about it did open our eyes. Now we take our shower heads apart and clean with bleach. We also have the boys use the tub shower rather than the stall shower because there is more air circulation. Scary stuff!</end quote></div>
That is really neat. Though I am sorry you now have the extra cleaning work as a result of your knowledge.
Were your boys put on the three-drug treatment for NTMs? If so, I hope they are handling it okay.
