You can clean your shower and Wand by Soaking them in Vinegar
it also removes the Mineral deposits , Thats what I have always
done of course being a plumber it is pretty easy for me to take them
apart and clean them. Most of the better Heads come apart.

Not much has been said about this-there is also concern that the produce sprayers in grocery stores also contain mycobacteria-be careful to avoid that mist as well.

I was JUST about to post this... The only thing I can really do is bleach the outside of my shower head b/c of the way the base CAULKS the heads to the spicket.....seems like everything now a days is dangerous...</end quote></div>

Hi

I heard an interview with the researcher, and apparently they tried that and MORE bacteria grew in the bleached heads (???) dont know why, seems bizarre...cant rely on bleach.

Apparently the safest option is having a bath.

I'm 28 and have taken showers since I was about 5. Not only do I have CF, I'm immunosuppressed because of the transplants. I am still not giving up my showers no matter what studies show. I have lived my life for 28 years without all of the new crapshoot studies that they have come up with and I will continue to do so.
