Boiling Nebs

Thanks everyone! You've eased my mind on this issue. I also use vinegar once in a while to get rid of the calcium build up. I'm glad I can keep boiling because I just don't want to have to deal with ANOTHER step in my daily routine of CF tasks (My RT did not get that AT ALL).

Just always remember to set a timer and remember to listen for it when you boil your meds or you will end up like me melting countless sets of nebs

You can use the dishwasher if it heats up to at least the recommended temp (which I can't recall right now). I had to check the book for my dishwasher to make sure, and the highest setting exceeds that temp. Boiling is great, I also use the Germ Guardian, but if you don't rinse them well enough beforehand there seems to be residue left over from the meds. Ours have been clogged before, which has never happened when we boil. Weird that the doc would shun your method. It seems that she's not up with the current protocol according to the CFF.
