Implants are always my dream that will never actually happen. I am a 36B and one of them is much smaller than the other. It looks ok in bras but with no bra I have one nipple practically at my shoulder (I have really high boobs) and one hanging down.

Anyway, if you get the implants good luck and I hope it works out for you. I really added nothing helpful but wanted to say you aren't alone in wanting them

just like to say if you think small boobs make clothes look bad [even though they dont], try having big boobs. they make them look worse. instead of thinking "do i look flat in this?" you will be thinking "do i look like a hooker in this?". bulging buttons, constrictive jackets, 'quad' boobs from singlets that dont have enough room, boobs falling out of bikini at beach [the worst!]. backless tops/dresses are OUT. low neck halters that have triangle pieces where the boobs are, are OUT. string bikinis are OUT. clothes arent designed for anyone who is a c cup or larger. you just have to look at women who model clothes and the mannequins they hang on. flat as! you wont just be paying for surgery, you will be paying for a whole new wardrobe and a lot of frustration. so be prepared. its an anti boob world out there rofl!

In response to what Risa said, I have read that breast augmentation can be a problem in lung transplantation. I have read of one case where the patient had a positive culture for mycobacterium abscessus pre transplant.....post transplant her breast beacme infected with an unknown bacteria. Turns out it was abscessus which eventually spread back to her new lungs and she died within a few months. Having said all of that, some believe that abscessus should never be transplanted.....who knows??? Would she have been ok if it had not been for her implants?

One of my good friends decided to have hers done after transplant. The transplant doc advised against it, but she was very healthy 2 years out and just wanted boobs. She had them put in, and now, 2 years later she is on dialysis and in chronic rejection.

I have another friend who is listed with implants...they will be taking hers out during the surgery so she doesn't have any infection risk.

I'm pretty flat and I understand the draw of a self-esteem shot.....I have gotten restylane injected in my forehead after frontal sinus obliteration made a loely dent in my forehead. But, implants scare me for my future. I don't plan on a transplant anytime soon, but I just don't want the extra scariness invokved in transplantation.

I am not arguing with you risa it's just that you made some commentsd I frequently hear so I'm just using your statment to address these issues

An old friend of mine, was completely flat chested but when she walked, she got lots of guys to stare at her. She carried herself in a way that demanded attention. Maybe because she looked so much like Madona?

People tend to think gals get boob jobs to catch a guys eye. Not really the case unless they are in a sex profession. Mostly we get a boob job bevause we have to look at oursleves and we'd like to see a reflection of a woman not a prepubescent boy or a 13 yr old girl.

It is not about how big your chest is, it is about how you feel about yourself. That shows more than anything. Just my opinion.

Absolutely! So why do people assume that someone got a boob job because they felt bad about themsleves?

edited to add: If you gain some quality weight, you might be surprised how much fills out your chest. Working out with weights will help too.

Actually, this really aint so true. If you are not genetically blessed you are pretty screwed, even if you could put on weight it wouldn't go to your boobs. And considering how hard it is for us to keep up our weight thats damning a lot of us to nearly A hell (also known as IBTC... itty bitty ..... committee). I am 5'1, 96lbs and frequently my stomach is sticking out like a save the children add. That makes you look like a little kid I'm sorry. But you know how little girls look in their bathing suits the way they are all just this little thing with no chest or anything and this stomach - well crap who wants to look like that their entire life!?! When I look in the mirror I want to see something that reflects the person I feel like to some extent. I felt older that 13 at 13 I certainly don't want to look 13 at 27.</end quote>

Also, to the other argument that guys don't really dig fake boobs. Yep, they probably don't I never thought they did...that's why it really is about what YOU want. So you are still probably going to be looking for guys who aren't boob men....oh gee thats a heart breaking thought.

oh debbie. i have this AWFUL picture of me when i was about 6 years old. im wearing a bright fuchsia one piece bathing suit. my stomach looks like the nose cone of an airplane! its so huge! i crack up laughing when i see that picture.

ditto to if you get something done, do it for yourself. if you do it for someone else, think its going to give you a new life or solve all of your self esteem problems then FORGET IT! theres no such thing as brain transplants yet i also think that if you plan on having a transplant, not to do this, unless you get them taken out prior to transplant. its just too risky, especially when it comes time to replace them. id hate to think what healing would be like on masses of rejection meds. i cant even get small cuts to heal when i took steroids. mmm gangrenous boobies!

not implants, but i cant wait for filler injections for my eye hollows and lips. yehaw! i keep saving but something always breaks down and drains my money.
