The words "Popular" and "Stalking" were just meant as sarcastic euphemisms. Settle down! If you don't condone this discussion then don't partake of it. It is cliquish on CF2Chat and I'm sorry if you don't agree. I am not alone in my assessment. I don?t think there has been any ?gossip? about CF2Chat here either. Some people don?t share your glowing opinion of the site and are expressing that but it?s not gossip. This is not meant as a condemnation of CF2Chat but rather as support for Julie and validation of her feelings.

oh boy dont get me started on hummers. ive only seen one in perth. and it happens to belong to some guy in my suburb. he parks this thing on the road, not his own property. this is a narrow, residential, but VERY BUSY road. people have to swerve out to avoid this giant piece of *&($@# and there has been near misses when 2 cays are coming both ways [you cant see past this thing]. now, out of all the cars that are available in australia, why the hell did this guy have to go and import a freaking hummer?

I just wasted atleast 10 minutes going through this entire thread... and... my conclusion is that this is not junior high. I should hope that most of you are adults (as your posts have said), and some slight ability to act your age. This is the Internet. A very good resource for emotional support, information, and networking... but a pretty lame place to have arguments.

julie i think you should just take a more open-minded approach of who you consider unproductive. I can see why you might take the simple minded approach to such things because of a religious view or military view. Well i don't want to start this up again, but i don't know if you would consider that tsunami the same sort of act of god(cleaning up or whatever). Maybe that iraq war is a way of god cleansing the unproductive hmmm? Anyways julie i think you're a good person, and you just need to look at it a little differently
Tom, I disagree with you-I don't NEED to look at anything differently at all. It is entirely my opinion and clearly you disagree-which is fine. But yes, I feel the same way about the Tsunami as well. Just because I feel that it happened for a reason, (both the Tsunami and the hurricane) DOES NOT mean that I didn't provide assistance in any way I could. There are those that survived and lost everything who need assistance getting on with their lives and I realize and support that. It doesn't change the fact that I still believe it happened for a reason. My views on unproductive people has nothing to do with any religious affiliations or my military views. It has to do with my opinion based on first hand research I have done for school projects, a little bit of media, first hand experience of the benefits given to LAZY (not sick, handicapped, mental problems....) LAZY people who choose not to work and are entitled to all sorts of benefts and your expense as well as mine. People who are continually in legal trouble, yet get all sorts of breaks from the city, state and government. What about those of us who work, pay our taxes, don't break the law, are sick but still work, are taking care of someone who is sick and can't work... there's nothing left for us. THat is where I derive my PERSONAL veiw of unproductive people.

I did create this post to vent, talk about the frustrating situation, bitch, complain... whatever... because expressing your feelings is a healty thing to do. I came her because I have many good friends on this site, and as you can clearly see... not all of them agreed with my opinion and not all of them agreed that it was appropriate for me to post what I did here, but it was left at that by anyone who has a long-time-standing on this board. If you read it and you don't like it, don't post here. I don't really care if you put, "I won't be reading this post again" or "I won't be posting here again", nor does anyone else, You just make yourself look like a fool when you do that.
It's not my fault that Mike posted his address and continually harassed me with emails after I asked him to stop. I don't care if he's a freaking saint in someone elses eyes, to me he's a freak. And although Luke had the right idea in stating that I wouldn't mind posting my address, and I see that he posted his, (and no offense to you Luke) I would NEVER do that, it just isn't the brightest thing to do. When you post something on the internet, email or whatever YOU TAKE THE RISK of someone else seeing it, hacking into it, intercepting it. If Mike knows all he says he knows, then he should have planned for that. I am not surprised admin took the home address out, although I don't think it inappropriate that it was there, but I am shocked that they took the emails out becuase his emails is accessable through CF2 chat???????
If more than one person in the universe (and i"ve counted about 15 on this site) think that CF2 is cliqueish, then it ought to be some feedback, not that any of the members who are a part of the clique care). There were some on that site who welcomed me, but for 98% of the time, NOBODY on that site paid attention to my posts and if anyone did, it was the same 1 or 2 people responding. The same scenario happens for other new people on the board, or those who clearly think with their own brains and don't "go with the flow" . There's no sense in me posting what I have here onto the CF2 board as someone suggested, it would just cause anothe fight and get deleted, besides, a majority of the angry and anonymous posts on this board are from CF2 chat members-the IP address from their names on the forum there and on the forum here are identical.... so unless they are all over at one persons house, CF2 members are trickling their way over here, many of them not having the guts to sign their name or register, and writing some interesting (lack of a better word) things.

I am telling exactly what happened, save for providing the link because some assistant manager deleted it. Please do share what I am not telling.....I am really curious to know what facts they are missing before they judged. And, as I read back over all the posts, it doesn't sound like ANYONE who said there are cliques on that site derived that opinion from my post. From what they posted, it seems as though they too were treated like crap by someone or many people on that site because their opinion differed.

I appreciate the support and the understanding from those who did post and had the guts to leave their name. Talking and reading some of the posts has helped me with the frustrations. I am long over being frustrated, but have been out to sea for a week so I just wanted to post this, although it would have been more relevant a few days ago!

Do you mean you were literally out to sea for a week... as in you were on a boat?!? Ha Ha! i'm so jealous! If you were just talking figuratively, though, ummmm.... then never mind. =-) If you were on a boat, though, then way cool! =-) I haven't seen the ocean for a year, so I miss it a lot.
yeah silly, I meant literally, we were doing some work ups for a deployment next year. I did fine on the ship, no seasickness or anything even when it got really rough and I got tossed a few times. But now that I am back on land, I feel land sick-like I am still rocking. It is a rather strange sensation <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">.

Anyway, i don't know what work-ups are, but they must be important if you have to do them a year in advance.... unless "work ups" are just some military code for go out and have a big party. =-)
nope, no party. You do manuvers with the ship, dip the nose underwater, do general quarters drills, man overboard, fire drills, mass casualty drills where dozens of people are hurt..... get about 2 hours of sleep a night because someone thinks its a bright idea to run the drills at night to..... and about that N word?????? No idea how to spell it.
