CF centers in Boston

Our son is at least a carrier (per Ambrey) and has had repeated sinus infections since he was one - he's now 5. We are in the process of the sweat test and all that. His ENT wants him treated in Boston (we live in NH). He is convinced his very unusually bad sinuses are connected to the carrier status. His immune system is fully present and functioning and he has no allergies. He has had adenoids out and maxillary opening widened and anterior ethmoid cells cleaned out. 6 months of antibiotics last year and still congested/possible infection right now. I'm sure this is no surprise to folks on this website - a family I appear to be joining in some capacity.

I understand that there are 2-3 different pediatric centers. Is there a difference between them? Any comments or suggestions? His ENT is associated with Mass Eye and Ear so Mass General looks appealing but we're trying to aim for excellence not necessarily convenience.

Thanks for any input as I am coming up to speed on all this.

Children's Hospital and Mass General are closet to you.
We use Children's and would not think of going any where else. It is also very easy to get to.

We were at Mass General for 9 years and recently switched to Children's when our MD moved there. Both centers are very good. If I had to start somewhere I would choose Children's. The only benefit to MGH is if your ENT is at MEEI it is much easier for them to work together/communicate when they are at the same hospital.

Thanks so much for your input. Our ENT is at MEEI. I did really like the nurse coordinator at Children's. One day at a time with prayer and we'll get it figured out. I do appreciate your help.
