CF doc or Ped. who do u call?

see, i wanted to keep giving him the sudafed also with the claritin and i didnt think i was alowed to do that. wow i cant believe that claritin is weak. i have been thinking about asking to give him allegra. good to know, thanks a lot. i too feel much more comfortable talking with his cf docs. they are so great and it just makes sense to me to go them with everything cause their already working with the cf care and even if it is something minor they tell me to just got the ped to get him looked at and then i report back to them and we go from there. im actaully waitin for call from his cf doc and im going to ask him about the allegra. they havent told me to do an extra treatment or chest pt. and that gurggling coming from aidan sounds like it is right in the back of his throat. hes sounding much better today. it sounded so broken up back there. and they keep asking me if hes spitting anything up? gross! but no, he isnt spitting anything up. is that good or do i want him to get the stuff out? the ped said his lungs were clear. i have about the hypertonick saline for the nose. and im thinking he needs that too. is it right over the counter? we live in jersey and i amright on the bay. and 10 minutes from the beach, which i frequent all thru the summer and this is aidans first summer onfoot, so he is loving it. plus it is so good for him. so thats why i think he needs the saine spray for his nose.

I call the ped if it's both. She is a pain sometimes but she was trained with our cf dr's. She desided to go to peds in her familys' office. If I call and she says call the other dr we do. I love it. The being a pain sometimes comes from her being trained as a cf dr. I'll call her first in a small emergency just to make sure I'm not freakin. Oh that to young stuff is crap. My sons have been taking meds for ever. Go to an allergist.
