CF doc or Ped. who do u call?

Elizabeth- I have an Aidan as well and live in NJ- about 2 minutes from the beach as well! Where do you live? We are in Pt Pleasant. What CF doc do you use??

Also- my Aidan had similar issues as yours at about the same age. He will be three in September but at 13 months, he started with a chronic runny nose. After months of trying oral antibiotics and allergy meds, he finally had a CAT scan. It showed SEVERE sinus disease. He was hospitalized for 3 days, had a PICC for a month trying to get rid of the sinus infections and then had surgery.

Since then he has done great. We use nasal rinses and a nasal streroid daily. SO beware when they tell you he is too young for sinus disease.

oh man i am officially freakin here. so it looks like im spending the day on the phone and by the phone talking to his cf doc. i cant let this go on much longer. im really worried about him. i know you all understand this one: as his mother i just have that feeling something else is going on. thanks for all the help and keep it coming.

I have a comment about "too young for sinus infection." My 15 month old had a bad fall for which he had to get a CT scan. While his skull was fine, they found his sinuses both filled with infection. Luckily we were at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital so our CF teeam was right there to look at the CT and decide what treatment was needed.
