You're at least as likely to get something in the hospital as from another CFer. I myself have met several. And will continue to meet them should I find another one I'm close to. As long as you don't share nebs or anything ridiculous like that, it's more of a personal decision than a RULE.

i really hate the fact we shouldn't mix, but i can see why were not supposed to.
when i was younger we used to have cf camps and days where we'd all do things together, they are some of the best times of my life. But i do remember getting a cough or new bug just about every time we had a camp or something. and over the next few weeks we'd all end up in hospital together!!
But i am still very close to some of the other CFs from those camps and see them outside of hospital too.
i think it is so important to see other CFs and talk to them, it helps so much.
