Pre pg w/ both girls I started out at 118.
I weighed 140-ish when Alexa was born so 22 pounds, give or take.
I got up to 145 w/ Hannah so 27 pounds but then w/ the GD diet and a stomach virus at 36 weeks - I started to lose weight. I think I was about 130 when Hannah arrived.

I also wanted to include that I drink 3 - 4 large glasses of whole milk w/ carnation instant breakfast packet mixed in everday. I really think this helped me gain the weight I did while pg and even though I lost that weight right away thanks to breastfeeding - I am able to mantain a healthy weight while BF with those drinks.

Charlotte,

The nutritionist put my weight gain goal at 15 lbs for the pregnancy. I lost 4 lbs in the 1st trimester and have pretty much gained that back now. They are getting concerned that I haven't really gained though. I am also trying to drink the Carnation instant breakfasts every day to help. I always feel hungry but I'm so darn picky! And I can't seem to fit a lot in at a time right now because I get full-feeling so fast now. Hopefully you'll be able to gain some before the baby comes because you'll be losing quite a bit after the baby's born. Especially if you're planning on BFing, you need to have those extra calories for sure! You don't want to end up getting sick (or sicker) after the baby's born because it's already hard enough with the lack of sleep and everything else that comes with a new baby. Try really heard now - it will be worth it!

Take care and good luck!

I gained 20 and 25 pounds with each pregnancy - but with both I didn't really pack on the pounds until close to the end of the second trimester and from there on I gained a ton. I think they are going to worry about weight gain more with Cfers, which maybe isn't always necessary, but you need to look at your overall health - if you had trouble gaining weight before pregnnacy and had a lot of malabsorption and dietary issues, it is going to be a bigger deal than if you didn't, kwim? Has the baby been looked at for normal growth patterns and such at this point? I normally don't take any supplements but I did drink an Ensure every morning when I was pregnant - maybe something like that would help?
