Good news, I took my Cipro right after dinner last night and was only mildly naseous. Today I took it with my pancakes and I feel great..no signs of an uneasy stomach! So I guess taking with food definately helps and my appetite is almost back to full.

My bottles says "May or May not be taken on an empty stomach"

Thanks for all the suggestions and who knew that Cipro has messed ya'll up to.

rotandroll--that is hilarious..almost spit Tuna outta my mouth haha.

Thanks you guys are the best,
Em

Yeah. Found out the hard way, 3 nights of 4 hours of sleep with the caffiene (mine was chocolate) and Cipro. A night sleep pill helped it! The miracle vitamins I'm on (JOKES, I just know I've mentioned them alot) have helped my GI to be regular which was a God - send after years of the crippety craps on Cipro. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hang in there, Emily and eat your chocolate during the day!!

Hi Em
My boys are okay on the oral cipro, they do get a little nauseated but thats it. However they can not take iv cipro as it makes them sick to their stomaches. During their last hospital stay it burnt their veins five minutes after they started the treatment! That was so nasty!
