Please, I'd love to hear your explanation of the digestive issues we face with CF and how they are non-existent, created and/or imagined?

<br />Man, you need a dose of one single day without enzymes for a CFer and I bet you'd be happy to support that pharmacy's BUSINESS!

True... realistically speaking, many of the symptoms of cystic fibrosis taken in isolation can be caused by other factors, but all the symptoms in combination with each other, combined with the VERY SPECIFIC genetic mutation of ONE gene out of the thousands of genes that we have? No, that is not the case. It is one very specific disease requiring treatment.

Please... get your daughter the help she needs if you are not currently doing so. Her life depends on it. Anger and disbelief is so common, but she *needs* you to do this.

You must be wigged out on something!! Hope you daughter does not suffer. If she has the + sweat test for CF and the CF gene mutation, sounds like she has CF unfortunately.

Get a second opinion. Get a third opinion. May God be with your daughter and you. If infact that she has CF she needs to followed by a CF doctor for early treatment!! Time will tell for her, CF is progressive disease. I know from first had information.

Hope she does well!! If she has CF, early treatment this day and time should give her a long life, exp. if the new VX drugs work out.

Cystic Fibrosis is not a business (unless you count cancer and aids as a business because drug companies and such make a mint off those illnesses as well.) I am 34 years old and I have cystic fibrosis. I'm not sure of your situation but I do know mine. And I do know CF is a real, heart breaking, horrible disease...

If you do not think your daughter has CF then you should get a second opinion. Cystic fibrosis is a progressive genetic disease that progresses differently for us all. Personally, I am in an adult study for CFers at the National Institutes of Health (a government funded hospital). I do not think the government would be paying for my medical care if cystic fibrosis was not a real disease.

Please for your daughter's sake do some research and get informed. This will help you be proactive in keeping her healthy if she does have cystic fibrosis.

Second of all, you should become educated.

Third of all, you will not be taken seriously here.

I agree with everyone here. Please keep your daughter's needs ahead of everything else, she will not only need physical help but she will also need emotional help to get through all the endeavours of CF. You will be unable to properly provide this if you do not get help for yourself. Good luck...
