I thought about staynig home as well witht he daycare costs and now no medicaid.. but when i hired on at my current employer they gave ashtons life insurance and health insurance no questions asked soo im not gonna loose that i think it would be completely stupid of me.. i stayed home with him the 1st year though....

My son has been in a home based daycare since he was 10 months old. I like this setting because it is a home environment and a much smaller amount of kids than you would see at the bigger daycare centers. Ryan gets to socialize but also gets good one on one time with daycare provider, who all of the kids call "Auntie". She is really conscious about his condition and makes sure that he eats and sleeps well. The kids get a ton of outdoor time which is nice (the more sun, the more Vitamin D <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> ) and during the summer she takes them to the pool. I now that when Ryan is there, he is being taken care of well. She charges $150/week ($600/month) which is not bad for Maryland (montgomery county). The kids get home cooked meals (breakfast and lunch) as well which is great. We love it as you can tell. Hope this helps.

( even though it means we had to live in a one bedroom apartment and we are a family of four. I feel like when she turns three in July, she really should start interacting with kids in a school setting. I would like for her to join pre-school, but I am concerened she may not recieve her ultrase and other meds. I'm also trying to get free daycare, but don't know where to go for help. Any advice?
