do you let your cf'r use the shower?

so i saw this about showers and cf and now im worried about letting my dd shower. shes only 7mo old but i take her in the shower with me and hold her and shower. ive only done it a handful of times as its kinda dificult.. every other time shes in the bath tub.

just wondering if any of you guys saw this info? or have been told of it from your drs?

When we received the newborn screening results back and went to the CF doc for the first time, he specifically told us not to even have him in the bathroom when we showered because of the bacteria that could be in the steam. I haven't asked about him showering in the future, but for now we just give him baths.

ooh interesting. i was never told anything like that. we have an in-ground spa in our bed room and we emptied it out while i was pregnant because it is a drowning hazard but weve been wanting to fill it again with winter coming.. do you think that would be the same kind of danger? it does get steamy...
